Hallo zusammen
Wie am letzten Treffen erwähnt, habe ich am diesjährigen FSFE ECM Treffen in Düsseldorf teilgenommen - einem Event, bei dem sich (möglichst) alle FSFE Coordinatoren treffen, austauschen und Themen diskutieren.
Deshalb möchte ich euch gerne eine grobe Zusammenfassung zukommen lassen, in der auch einige Punkte zu diskutieren sind und ich um euren Input froh wäre (Entschuldigung für die lange Mail/Textwall):
1.) Rolle des Coordinators: Vielen Coordinatoren war die Rolle des Coordinators bis jetzt zu abstrakt gehalten. Unklar war, ob er eine Gruppe aus organisatorischer Sicht organisiert (Treffen abmachen, Lokalität besorgen, Tagesthemen, Vorträge) oder die Gruppe in eine bestimmte Richtung leitet (Events und Aktionen bestimmt, das Schlusswort hat - direkt gesagt: Chef ist).
In Österreich kam es ferner zu gewissen Problemen mit Fellows, wo sich ein Coordinator dann auch die Frage stellen musste, wie gross seine Handlungskompetenz ist und ob er auch handeln/einschreiten darf und wenn ja wie/wie weit.
Darum würde ich das gerne am nächsten Treffen diskutieren, wie ihr das sieht? Wir haben zwar keine "schwierigen Mitglieder" sondern eine sehr tolle Gruppe, aber ich wäre froh, wenn wir die Coordinatorenrolle bestätigen und wenn möglich auch eventuelle Aufgaben verteilen könnten, z.B. wie Elias, der bis jetzt immer die Location für das nächste Treffen checkt/sondiert.

Term Fellowship: Die Mehrheit der Anwesenden möchte den Begriff Fellowship(gruppe) nicht mehr verwenden, da er vor allem in Deutschland allzu oft mit Sekten/(Frei)Kirchen in Verbindung gebracht wird - Fellows sind weiterhin die Mitglieder der FSFE, die Gesamtheit kann mit Community angesprochen werden.
Als Ersatz für Fellowship(Gruppe) soll entweder "FSFE Localgroup <Location>" oder "FSFE <Country>" verwendet werden - und hier kommen wir zu Punkt 3
3.) Weglassen des Terms Fellowship: Da wir momentan von "FSFE Fellowshipgruppe Zürich" reden, habe ich mit Erik Albers dies diskutiert. Es gäbe meiner Meinung nach 2 gute mögliche Lösungen (Falls ich etwas übersehen habe - Input:)
- Wir benennen uns ins FSFE Switzerland um und treffen uns weiterhin ganz normal in Zürich. Durch den Begriff FSFE Switzerland sprengen wir endlich nicht jeden Briefkopf und wirken in Anschreiben offizieller/"nationaler". Dieser Vorschlag bedarf etwas mehr Arbeit, doch könnten wir die momentane Situation m.M.n. auch endlich einmal sauber durchstrukturieren. Sollte in der Schweiz an einem anderen Ort eine Gruppe entstehen, teilen wir beide Gruppen unter dem Begriff FSFE Switzerland in FSFE Localgroup X und FSFE Localgroup Y auf.
- Wir benennen uns nur in FSFE Localgroup Zürich um und verwenden diesen Begriff auch in Anschreiben. Für mich tönt Localgroup weniger eindrücklich als Switzerland, doch benötigt dieser Vorschlag auch weniger Aufwand.
Ich persönlich tendiere klar zu Option 1, auch um im Hinblick auf die Wahlen 2015 offizieller und eindrücklicher zu tönen (Zudem haben wir einen kleinen Anglizismus gleich vermieden). Wir könnten auch Option 2 realisieren und FSFE Switzerland mit einer passenden Kontaktmail oä für offizielle Angelegenheiten verwenden.
4.) Ich würde es begrüssen, wenn wir zukünftige Treffen etwas mehr strukturierter organisieren könnte - vieles davon geht auf meine Kappe. Zum Beispiel, dass wir für die News oder andere Themen am Anfang eine bestimmte Zeit einplanen, damit diese nicht untergehen und dann zwischen Angel und Tür (10 Minuten vor Ende) aus der Versenkung geholt werden müssen. Wie würde so etwas konkret aussehen?

Aufgabenzuteilung ist sinnvoll und wichtig. Schwierige Fälle sollten aus meiner Sicht in einer Community nicht durch eine Führungsperson sondern durch einen Code-of-Conduct sowie ein Community-Council gelöst werden. In wie weit das bei der FSFE schon existiert, müsstest du fragen.

Das eine schliesst das andere ja nicht aus. Unsere Gruppe ist klar eine Lokalgruppe, also FSFE Local Group Zurich oder FSFE Lokalgruppe Zürich. Die Dachorganisation für die Schweiz ist FSFE Switzerland. Darunter befinden sich alle lokalen Gruppen. Zur Zeit ist das nur die Gruppe in Zürich, aber die Idee ist es, weiter Lokalgruppen zu fördern und zu stärken.
Aktionen können wir natürlich auch unter dem Label FSFE Switzerland durchführen, solange das mit den anderen Lokalgruppen koordiniert wurde. Da wir momentan nur unsere Lokalgruppe in der Schweiz haben, ist die Koordination einfacher ;) Für die Wahlaktionen können wir aus meiner Sicht gerne FSFE Switzerland verwenden.

Da wir ja sowieso die Rolle des Coordinators definieren müssen würde ich vorschlagen das gleich im Rahmen von FSFE Switzerland zu machen. Wir definieren also die rolle des coordinators schweiz und der Localgroup. Immer im Hinblick dass wir grösser werden. Wenn das geklärt ist, können wir dann entscheiden wie wir uns da Einfügen und welche Rolle wir übernehmen.
Ich wäre grundsätzlich für FSFE Switzerland.

Wie geschrieben, haben wir in jedem Fall beide Rollen inne. Das war bisher auch schon so. Ich hatte die Koordinatorenrolle FSFE Switzerland und Simon die der Lokalgruppe.
Das muss aber nicht so bleiben. Ich kann mir auch vorstellen, diese Positionen zur Wahl auszustellen, so dass sich jeder darauf bewerben kann und diese dann für eine gewisse Zeit inne zu behalten (z.B. 2 - 3 Jahre, oder falls er/sie nicht mehr mag). Bisher hatten wir eher das Problem, dass es keiner machen wollte ;)

Finde ich gut. Wir haben ja schon mal gesagt, die News gleich zu Beginn. Ich glaube, dass der Coordinator als Moderator tätig sein muss. Zumindest für eine begrenzte Zeit. Danach soll es auch wieder lockerer zugehen.

Ich würde uns FSFE Switzerland benennen. Falls es mehr Gruppen in der Schweiz gibt, dann können wir (wie Simon gesagt hat) eine Localgroup X und eine Localgroup Y haben.

Ich habe nochmal mit Matthias gesprochen, es sieht so aus wie ich es ursprünglich geschrieben hatte:
Die Lokalgruppe heisst weiterhin FSFE Local Group Zurich / FSFE Lokalgruppe Zürich und die Dachorganisation für die Schweiz FSFE Switzerland.
Einzelne Aktionen können nach Absprache mit Matthias im Namen FSFE Switzerland durchgeführt werden.
Bis auf weiteres ist Simon der Leiter der Lokalgruppe und ich bin der Country Coordinator.
Ziel ist es weitere Lokalgruppen aufzubauen.
Für die Stelle des Country Coordinators würde ich gerne eine Vertretung haben. @Simon falls du das übernehmen möchtest, würde ich mich freuen.

Das wäre ganz toll. Ich würde dich/euch auch gerne einmal zu einem unserer Treffen einladen, damit wir uns austauschen können und ihr ein Gefühl dafür bekommt ‚wie das so läuft‘. Eine Lokalgruppe ist natürlich aber auch immer etwas Individuelles, und das ist auch gut so :)

Vielen Dank für die Abklärung mit Matthias - für mich ist eine solch fehlende Kommunikation innerhalb des FSFE-Teams recht ärgerlich, da es zu zeitraubenden Abklärungen und zu (vorallem für mich) peinlichen Momenten kommt ;)
Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich nach dem Telefonat mit dir für das nächste Meeting einen Plan für die Tagesthemen verfasst, in welchem es hauptsächlich um organisatorische Sachen und Feedback/Verbesserungsvorschläge geht. Ich wäre froh, wenn jeder für ihn wichtige Punkte eintragen kann, damit wir eine möglichst realistische Diskussion führen können und jeder seine Wünsche einbringen kann:

Ich sehe den Coordinator eher als 'Chef'. Solange die Sonne scheint kann man basisdemokratische Beschlüsse fassen und partizipativ handeln. Aber wenn es regnet ist es immer gut wenn einer sagt wo es lang geht.
FSFE Switzerland gefällt mir auch besser. Da es nur eine Lokalgruppe gibt, haben wir kein Problem. Falls weitere Lokalgruppen plötzlich wie Pilze aus dem Boden schiessen, kann man das immer noch ändern bzw. durch einen Anhang kenntlich machen, z.B. FSFE Switzerland (ZH) oder so ähnlich.
Eine klare Agenda für unsere Treffen hat noch nie geschadet; früher hatten wir das bei den Tuxeros auch.

Wie am letzten Treffen erwähnt, habe ich am diesjährigen FSFE ECM Treffen in Düsseldorf teilgenommen - einem Event, bei dem sich (möglichst) alle FSFE Coordinatoren treffen, austauschen und Themen diskutieren.
Deshalb möchte ich euch gerne eine grobe Zusammenfassung zukommen lassen, in der auch einige Punkte zu diskutieren sind und ich um euren Input froh wäre (Entschuldigung für die lange Mail/Textwall):
1.) Rolle des Coordinators: Vielen Coordinatoren war die Rolle des Coordinators bis jetzt zu abstrakt gehalten. Unklar war, ob er eine Gruppe aus organisatorischer Sicht organisiert (Treffen abmachen, Lokalität besorgen, Tagesthemen, Vorträge) oder die Gruppe in eine bestimmte Richtung leitet (Events und Aktionen bestimmt, das Schlusswort hat - direkt gesagt: Chef ist).
In Österreich kam es ferner zu gewissen Problemen mit Fellows, wo sich ein Coordinator dann auch die Frage stellen musste, wie gross seine Handlungskompetenz ist und ob er auch handeln/einschreiten darf und wenn ja wie/wie weit.
Darum würde ich das gerne am nächsten Treffen diskutieren, wie ihr das sieht? Wir haben zwar keine "schwierigen Mitglieder" sondern eine sehr tolle Gruppe, aber ich wäre froh, wenn wir die Coordinatorenrolle bestätigen und wenn möglich auch eventuelle Aufgaben verteilen könnten, z.B. wie Elias, der bis jetzt immer die Location für das nächste Treffen checkt/sondiert.
2.) Term Fellowship: Die Mehrheit der Anwesenden möchte den Begriff Fellowship(gruppe) nicht mehr verwenden, da er vor allem in Deutschland allzu oft mit Sekten/(Frei)Kirchen in Verbindung gebracht wird - Fellows sind weiterhin die Mitglieder der FSFE, die Gesamtheit kann mit Community angesprochen werden.
Als Ersatz für Fellowship(Gruppe) soll entweder "FSFE Localgroup <Location>" oder "FSFE <Country>" verwendet werden - und hier kommen wir zu Punkt 3
3.) Weglassen des Terms Fellowship: Da wir momentan von "FSFE Fellowshipgruppe Zürich" reden, habe ich mit Erik Albers dies diskutiert. Es gäbe meiner Meinung nach 2 gute mögliche Lösungen (Falls ich etwas übersehen habe - Input:)
- Wir benennen uns ins FSFE Switzerland um und treffen uns weiterhin
ganz normal in Zürich. Durch den Begriff FSFE Switzerland sprengen wir endlich nicht jeden Briefkopf und wirken in Anschreiben offizieller/"nationaler". Dieser Vorschlag bedarf etwas mehr Arbeit, doch könnten wir die momentane Situation m.M.n. auch endlich einmal sauber durchstrukturieren. Sollte in der Schweiz an einem anderen Ort eine Gruppe entstehen, teilen wir beide Gruppen unter dem Begriff FSFE Switzerland in FSFE Localgroup X und FSFE Localgroup Y auf.
- Wir benennen uns nur in FSFE Localgroup Zürich um und verwenden
diesen Begriff auch in Anschreiben. Für mich tönt Localgroup weniger eindrücklich als Switzerland, doch benötigt dieser Vorschlag auch weniger Aufwand.
Ich persönlich tendiere klar zu Option 1, auch um im Hinblick auf die Wahlen 2015 offizieller und eindrücklicher zu tönen (Zudem haben wir einen kleinen Anglizismus gleich vermieden). Wir könnten auch Option 2 realisieren und FSFE Switzerland mit einer passenden Kontaktmail oä für offizielle Angelegenheiten verwenden.
