Ich verstehe Sie gut. Wir sind gerade dabei zwei Open Source Alternativen zu testen und hoffen, den virtuellen OED darüber hosten zu können. Gerne komme ich im Herbst wieder auf Sie zu, sobald das Datum 2021 bekannt ist und wir würden uns dann über Ihren Beitrag freuen.

Die Absage des Open Education Day 2020 ist ein Gebot der aktuellen Situation. Ihr Vorschlag, die Veranstaltung dennoch im virtuellen Rahmen durchzuführen, ist begrüssenswert und findet sicherlich die Unterstützung einiger Referenten.
Dennoch müssen wir den FSFE-Vortrag "Selber hosten leicht gemacht" von Lioh Moeller und Ralf Hersel absagen, und zwar aus diesen Gründen:
- Nach der Absage des OED haben wir die Vorbereitung eingestellt. Die Zeit
bis zur virtuellen Veranstaltung ist zu kurz für uns.
- Der virtuelle Open Education Day soll über die Software "Zoom"
durchgeführt werden; das ist für uns ein Absagegrund. Die Entscheidung für dieses Werkzeug stösst bei uns auf Unverständnis. CH Open ist ein "Verein zur Förderung von Open Source Software und offenen Standards in der Schweiz". Wir verstehen nicht, warum CH Open sein eigenes Selbstverständnis leichtfertig aufgibt.
Die Corona-Krise ist kein Grund um Vereinsstatuten, den Schutz des Datenrechts und der Privatspähre über Bord zu werfen. Der Zweck heiligt in diesem Fall nicht die Mittel.
Wir wünschen Ihnen viel Erfolg beim virtuellen Open Education Day. Gerne sind wird im nächsten Jahr wieder mit dabei.

Liebe Referentinnen, liebe Referenten
Die aktuelle Lage in der Schweiz, von der wir alle betroffen sind, bleibt angespannt und nicht voraussehbar. Die vergangenen Wochen haben gezeigt, dass es schwierig werden wird, alle geplanten Veranstaltungen zu verschieben. Das OK-Team tut sich schwer mit einer Absage des Open Education Day 2020, welcher ein so tolles Programm versprochen hat. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns überlegt, wie wir ein Stück Open Education Day in die Wohnung, den Garten oder aufs Sofa unserer Teilnehmenden bringen könnten. Wir sind uns bewusst, dass der Open Education Day auch vom Austausch und vor allem vom physischen Probieren an den Workshops lebt. Covid-19 stellt uns jedoch alle vor neue Herausforderungen, also versuchen wir doch, die eine oder andere zu packen. Wären Sie dabei bei unserem Experiment «Virtueller Open Education Day»?
Der grobe Plan ist wie folgt: Samstag, 25. April 2020 von 09.15 bis 12.15 Uhr
09:15 Begrüssung, Intro im Plenum Block Referate: 09:30 Parallellaufende Keynotes à 30 Minuten moderiert durch das OK- Team. Möglichkeit für Fragen im Chat. 10:00 Diskussion zu den Keynote-Speeches in verschiedenen Breakout- Rooms à max. 6 Personen. ReferentIn kann zwischen den Räumen switchen. 10:15 Fragen aus den Breakout-Rooms zusammentragen, Besprechung mit ReferentIn Block Workshops: 10:30 Virtuelle Workshops (die Workshop-Leaders sind frei, wie sie sich organisieren). 11:15 Pause Block Kurzinputs: 11:30 Im Plenum. 3-5min pro Input. 12:00 Abschluss
Die Veranstaltung soll über Zoom stattfinden, welches sich in Sachen Stabilität in den vergangenen Woche bei viele Teilnehmern am besten bewährt hat. Es ist dort möglich, eine Präsentation, den Desktop oder die Kamera zu teilen. In der Gestaltung sind Sie also komplett frei. Instruktionen und genaue Informationen folgen. Wir sind uns bewusst, dass die virtuelle Aufbereitung für teils Workshops nicht möglich sein wird.
Haben Sie Lust, Freude und den nötigen Entdeckerdrang mit Ihrem geplanten Beitrag an unserem Experiment mitzuwirken? Wir freuen uns auf Ihre Rückmeldung bis Ostermontagabend und versorgen Sie dann so schnell als möglich mit weiteren Informationen.
Wir sind bereit, etwas Neues, vielleicht noch unperfektes zu wagen und freuen uns über Ihre Mithilfe.
