DMCA is now a European Directive

Hello,

I was just browsing the European Commission webpage and noticed that the
previously approved Directive named "harmonisation of certain aspects of
copyright and related rights in the information society" has been signed
by the Council and by the Parliament. The "reference" of this Directive is
2001/29/EC and you can find it in PDF here:

http://europa.eu.int/comm/internal_market/en/intprop/news/index.htm

Will it make software like DeCSS illegal in the member countries after they
put this directive in their national laws?
