[Fsfe-ie] What to do about Novell and Microsoft?

I haven't read all the published details, but it raises some interesting
questions.  When should we prevent companies from getting patent protection
for their customers?  Possible answer: when it creates a situation where
they profit from others being in danger, and gives them an incentive to
sustain that danger for others.
