Greeting all,
the deadline for people to apply to the FSCONS scholarship passed yesterday and the results are interesting. We had eight applications, which is way below what was expected, but there are:
Iceland: 5 Finland: 2 Norway: 1 Denmark: 0
So by far the Icelandic community outweighs all of the others. Having had a look through the eight applications received, I can't see any reason that any of them would be disqualified in any way, so I propose to accept all eight. The motivation and names are in the attached ODS file.
I also propose that we extend the submission period for people from Finland, Norway and Denmark another four weeks.
